Who:
This is a semi-formal event designed to unite young professionals in the greater Seattle metro area. We hope to connect young professionals at our event through entertainment, music, dinner and drinks. We encourage Seattleites to come and mingle, imbibe, dine, dance, and enjoy the 1st Annual Mr. Awesome of Seattle Contest.

What:
Come join us for the ‘Let’s Spring into Summer’ semi-formal gala. This exciting gala will feature dinner and dancing, live music, and the very first Mr. Awesome of Seattle contest! Watch fifteen outstanding men strut their stuff in a contest with the very best the Emerald City has to offer!

Where:
The ‘Let’s Spring into Summer’ gala will be held at the stunning Hilton Hotel Ballroom in downtown Seattle. Click here for direction to the hotel.

When:
Saturday, June 18, 2011. Seating starts at 6 PM and the event goes on until 1 AM.

What is the cost of the event and how do I get tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online in advance through PayPal on www.alarproductions.com OR by emailing info@alarproductions.com. Please include how many tickets you desire, which level (regular or VIP), include your name, address, billing information and the tickets will be mailed within 3-5 business days. You can also purchase tickets directly from Mr. Awesome candidates.

Regular Ticket $75 - $45 non-meal
Tickets include admission to the gala and are available in advance through the website at www.alarproductions.com. Ticket price includes admission to the event and a trip through the dinner line. You can purchase 2 regular tickets for a discounted rate of $65 per ticket or 10 tickets for $50 each.

VIP (available in limited numbers) $150
This includes a 3-course dinner served at your table, a bottle of fine champagne, and much more! You will receive a menu upon purchasing your ticket to pre-select your dinner prior to the gala.

What should I wear?
This is a semi-formal event so we recommend that women wear a cocktail dress, pant suit or dress suit. One can also wear dressy tops and dress pants. We encourage dresses to the knees or longer but not floor length, as that would be formal dress. Dressy business suits, cocktail dresses, or anything modest but classy are all good choices.

What NOT to wear: Jeans, t-shirts, flannel, flip flops, sneakers, jerseys, ripped or torn clothing , mesh, bandanas, track suits, mini and micro-mini skirts are NOT permitted.

For men, semi-formal attire means wearing a full suit, with vests being optional. A tie, either bow or straight, should be worn, and the shirt should be a simple button down. Suit fabric choices can be wool, gabardine or cashmere. Linen or seersucker suits are not formal enough for semi-formal attire. Dress shoes like oxfords are worn. It is not necessary to wear a tuxedo, and one might be considered a bit overdressed for a semi-formal event showing up in a tux.

Where can I park?
There is street parking but because we cannot guarantee availability, we highly recommend parking at the Hilton Hotel parking garage. Our event has a terrific parking rate of $5. Valet parking is also available.
